Hull Ice Rink (known as Hull Ice Arena) is a skating rink and concert venue close to the city centre. The arena reopened in 2021 after the council’s £1.5 million refurbishment.
Hull Ice Rink is home to a number of ice hockey teams, including the Hull Seahawks of the NIHL National League. It is just one of 41 ice rinks in the UK that are home to competitive ice hockey teams.

How Cold Is Hull Ice Rink?
If you haven’t been to a hockey game before, you need to know that ice rinks are cold places (not a surprise!). And the closer you are to the ice, the colder you will be. Also, hockey rinks in the UK aren’t heated, so temperatures in the arena drop in line with outside temperatures.
For those with some experience of UK rinks, we would rank the temperature of the Hull ice rink as average.
Hull Ice Rink Seating & Away Fan Blocks
Hull Seahawks tickets give you assigned seating, and the away fans block at Hull Arena is block E. Most seats at Hull Ice Rink have a good view. If you aren’t planning to sit in the away block, we recommend sitting as close to the centre ice as possible and a few rows up from the front.
