Gosport Ice Rink (also known as Planet Ice Gosport) lies on Fareham Road, around a 10-minute drive from the town centre. It is an older rink, definitely needing a bit of modernization.
Planet Ice Gosport is home to several ice hockey teams, including the Solent Devils and the Solent Devils 2 teams. It is just one of 41 ice rinks in the UK that are home to competitive ice hockey teams.

How Cold Is Gosport Ice Rink?
If you haven’t been to a hockey game before, you need to know that ice rinks are cold places (not a surprise!). And the closer you are to the ice, the colder you will be.
Also, hockey rinks in the UK aren’t heated, so temperatures in the arena drop in line with outside temperatures. Compared to other UK rinks, we would rank the Gosport ice rink as very cold.
Gosport Ice Rink Seating
Planet Ice Gosport is a relatively small arena with seating for around 100 spectators. All seating is close to the ice surface, so you should wrap up warm.
