Dundee Ice Rink (Dundee Ice Arena)

Dundee Ice Rink (also known as Dundee Ice Arena) is on the northwestern edge of Dundee, around a 10-minute drive from the city centre. It is a bright, comfortable multipurpose facility located on Camperdown Leisure Park.

Dundee Ice Rink is home to a number of ice hockey teams, including the Dundee Stars of the Elite Ice Hockey League. It is just one of 41 ice rinks in the UK that are home to competitive ice hockey teams.

Dundee Ice Rink Parking

Camperdown Leisure Park has a large free car park, so you are unlikely to have a problem finding a space. However, you might just have a problem getting out of the car park at the end of the game.

The car park exit is a huge bottleneck; it has been known for people to take almost an hour to get out after a busy game. The best parking advice we can give is to park close to the exit rather than close to the rink entrance.

Dundee Stars Ice Hockey Team

The Dundee Stars is an ice hockey team playing in the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).

The EIHL is the highest-level professional league in the UK, with 10 teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

How Cold Is Dundee Ice Rink?

If you haven’t been to a hockey game before, you need to know that ice rinks are cold places (not a surprise!). And the closer you are to the ice, the colder you will be. Also, hockey rinks in the UK aren’t heated, so temperatures in the arena drop in line with outside temperatures.

For those with some experience of UK rinks, we would rank this arena temperature as pretty average. There are definitely colder rinks, but you will need to wrap up.

Dundee Ice Rink Seating & Away Fan Blocks

Dundee Stars tickets don’t give you assigned seating, but the away fans generally sit in block K . It is a good rink to watch a game from; it is a very light, bright arena, and the views are good on whichever side of the arena you are on.
